WArm-ups

Warming up is one of the most important things we can do as a trombonist. It not only helps you prepare for playing, but it can serve as an additional opportunity to focus on the simple fundamental components to playing. Here are a few of the areas I believe in focusing on while warming up.

Long Tones

Long tones are one of, if not our most important practice components. Playing some long tone exercises as part of your warm-up can serve several very important functions for your playing.
